SALTBOX SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY...
The Saltbox School uses a developmentally appropriate curriculum that sparks our students' imaginations and sense of wonder, making them eager to learn more! We use thematic units of instruction in which our students learn through play, and support our students' creativity, curiosity, self-expression and self-esteem. Our active learners develop problem-solving skills during structured and unstructured activities. At the Saltbox School, we educate the whole child by planning activities that encourage growth intellectually, socially, emotionally and physically in an environment of mutual respect and unconditional acceptance. Our students are part of our school family. They gain pleasure in learning and develop confidence in their ability to learn and accomplish challenging tasks. We strive to develop in every child a life-long love of learning.
